Documents Needed

The following information needs to be attached to your on-line application or given to the principal during the interview:

  • Valid Alabama teacher’s certificate (or letter from college stating that all requirements have been met for certification)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges
  • Lee vs. Macon certificate(s) including:

    (1) Foundations of Positive Behavioral Support and Intervention Strategies

    (2) Makes Sense Instructional Strategies

    (3) Disproportionality Training (this replaced Awareness Training)

  • Copy of valid social security card (name should be correct) (click on link below for application for a new social security card)
  • Copy of valid driver’s license
  • Erin's Law Training certificate
  • Alabama Ethics Training certificate

    Addressing Disproportionality in Alabama Schools Professional Development 

    Addressing Disproportionality in Alabama Schools Professional Development (or Lee v. MaconTraining) has three components that must be conducted annually for all newly hired teachers, administrators, evaluators and others, as appropriate.

    Training is provided for new staff members at the beginning of each school year regarding these three areas.  Ongoing training is provided to other staff members throughout the year.

All three training components should be completed by October of each year.  The signed certificate should be sent to Mrs. Doris Vincent as documentation of completion.
