Mrs. Brianne Roberts
For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be a teacher! In 2009, I achieved this goal by graduating from Athens State University with a degree in elementary education and by beginning my career as a 6th grade teacher. After a few years of teaching, I continued my education, earning a master's degree in library media from the University of West Alabama. I took my education journey even further by completing my Ed.S. in library media and by gaining my certification in instructional leadership from the University of West Alabama as well. Additionally, I have completed the LETRS for school administrators course and earned a National STEM Teacher certification from NISE. During my time in education, I have served students, parents, and my peer educators in a variety of roles.
It is my belief that our willingness to try new things and to learn continuously are driving forces behind success. No matter what we are learning, whether it is a concept, a new skill, or a new practice, I believe we should always put forth our best efforts and strive to achieve greatness.
My husband and I have one daughter, Arlee. I enjoy cooking, being outside, and spending time with those that I love. I am blessed and honored to be able to serve the students in the Russellville City School System and to be a part of the wonderful team at Russellville Middle School. For the current school year, I will teach 6th and 7th grade math.
